About the Rathe wheelsets by Porte

Our hand-spoked wheelsets are state of the art products at a competitive price point specifically designed for cross-country and marathon racing.

Super light rims with 30 or 30.6mm internal width, with the unique flat profile rimbed, are bonded with our Ixion R or SL hubs through Sapim CX Ray spokes and Polyax nipples. Weights range from 1075 to 1170 grams.

Are the wheelsets completely safe?

All our products are approved by the EFBE testing facility in Germany to be in compliance with the ASTM Classification Level 3.

 

 

In what versions and finish are the rims available?

 

There are three versions: 290, 270 and 250g!

The rims are a patented design and use an epoxy instead of paint for environmental reasons.

What hubs are those?

We created our own hubs with an exclusive ratchet architecture that has a 45 POE engagement making a distinctive roaring sound that will make you go even faster. Based on our reliability testing we decided to chose for straight pull spokes.
